Wow...March was filled with lots of fun activities and celebrations! We started the month celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday with a silly spirit week. Next, we moved on to St. Patrick's Day and each room designed their own leprechaun traps, hoping this would be our lucky year! Without fail, he got away again! To end the month of March we enjoyed celebrating Easter. The Easter Bunny joined us during our egg hunt and we enjoyed taking pictures with him! In December, many activities in the math, literacy and language arts domains had a holiday theme. A few examples included: a science experiment that dissolved a gingerbread man cookie, creating a mini cranberry bog, taking measurements using a wrapping bow, making peppermint playdough, wrapping presents to enhance fine motor skills and learning the traditions of Hanukkah. A holiday party and a visit from Santa Claus capped off a great month!
