In December, many activities in the math, literacy and language arts domains had a holiday theme. A few examples included: a science experiment that dissolved a gingerbread man cookie, creating a mini cranberry bog, taking measurements using a wrapping bow, making peppermint playdough, wrapping presents to enhance fine motor skills and learning the traditions of Hanukkah. A holiday party and a visit from Santa Claus capped off a great month!

Santa made his annual visit to Little Scholars Preschool and enjoyed some time with the kids and the staff! Also, LSP sponsored a Christmas tree at Slater Park's Winter Wonderland. The kids did an outstanding job making ornaments to decorate it!
