February was all about love and kindness here at Little Scholars Preschool!💖 The students built lots of conversation heart towers and made many Valentine’s heart collages to give to their friends. When they were not passing out valentines to all of their friends they were learning all about the heart and the role it plays to make our body work! Our students also focused on celebrating heart month by wearing red and listening to their very own heartbeat through a stethoscopes. The children celebrated President's Day by learning how to recognize the differences between coins and were observing the presidents on the coins! We also received some love from Marty the Comfort Dog from the East Providence Police Department with the special visit that he made to us at Little Scholars. The children had lots of fun learning and engaging with each other this month and finished the month with Valentine’s Day parties to celebrate why love and kindness matters!
