This month was a busy one! We started off by celebrating Dr. Suess week and enjoyed crazy hat day, crazy sock day, mix/match day, green day and more! We spent time reading lots of Dr. Seuss books and learning all about his crazy rhyming. March was also a month full of "March Mathness". Throughout the month the classes were learning all different shapes by playing color shape bingo, using fine motor skills by counting shaped beads and stringing them, counting and identifying colors making leprechaun rainbows and so much more! The greatest part of March was trying to catch the Leprechaun who was playing tricks on all of us here at LSP! As a family engagement piece, each child brought home directions for a Leprechaun Trap project and the children and their families spent time making their best Leprechaun traps in hopes to catch him here at the preschool, however, no such luck... however….maybe next year we will capture him!
