Mrs. Oldham's class learned about their five senses. Students tasted salty, sour and sweet things. They each made a Five Senses Book. In the Mathematics domain the children learned about shapes; a circle is like a ball, a triangle has three sides, a square is like a box and a rectangle has two short and two long sides. There were masking tape shapes all over the floor for the children to jump in and out of. The students went on a shape hunt, where they scoured the school looking for shapes and then drew them as they were found!
